• Characterized by speed, power and strength, Team Shift’s lead rider – Samim Rizvi - was the solo entry to RAAM from India in 2010. The first ever entry from India rode for 48 continuous hours before he was pulled out of the race by the race medical team having been diagnosed with pneumonia. He was infected by two strains of viruses after riding in freezing rain for 100miles.

    That was 2010, and in 2011, he achieved what he set out to do, crossed the finish line on his cycle, riding 3000 miles in 12 days, to be the first Indian ever in the 30 years history of the race, to qualify and complete the race. Race in detail can be read here
